Veranda Beach Vineyard

The Veranda Beach Master Plan contemplates planting forty acres of vineyards over the coming years.  More than twelve acres of Barbera, Sangiovese, Cab Franc and Riesling grapes have already been planted.  Additional varietals will be planted to complement Veranda's small lot production.

Barbera vines at Veranda BeachWell known Okanagan Valley grape grower Richard Cleave mentors Veranda's Vineyard Manager, Tony Angel in planning and caring for the day to day operations of the vineyards.  Tony's attention to detail has manicured the vineyards to optimize their production and their beauty.

Veranda Beach celebrated its inaugural grape harvest in the fall of 2010, followed by a subsequent harvest of over three and half times as big, doubling that again in 2012, and increasing yet again in the 2013 harvest.  As Veranda Beach Winemaker Katy Smith Perry says, "it all begins with great fruit" and Veranda Beach Vineyards produces just that.  Finis and his crew are passionate about what they do and it truly comes through in Veranda Beach Cellars wines.

When vineyard production warrants, Veranda Beach Cellars Winery is proposed to be built at the eastern foot of Cactus Mountain. Construction of the winery will include a "Wine Cave" which will not only serve as wine storage but provide a unique venue for tastings, dinners and other special events

With its outstanding Vineyard, Wines, Beach, vibrant Village Center, the addition of Wine related activities and events, and future plans for a golf course, Veranda Beach is quickly becoming the Pacific Northwest's most popular destination.
